So I finally indulged in a beagle with bacon, syrup, cream cheese and nuts. Can't say that bacon with sweetness is the way to go, but it was not bad at all. In the end I do still prefer it with more bacon and cheese.

Funny enough I saw people complaining about the weather in my absence but for the last two days it's been a comfortable 25c here in PE which is a lot more pleasant than the 45c+ temps I've had to contend with for the last few weeks.

Besides, I've just started curing a nice 1.6kg slab of pork belly tonight so I must be back.
