How do you remove this?

Clean green.

also heard of the baby oil or melted butter way

first pour a few jugs of boiling water over it then use a tar remover, sometimes comes off with just the water.

boiling? oi

Warm/hot water - a good car soap and then polish. For Pete's sake don't use abrasives or thinners/nail polish unless you want to remove your paint!!!

Sandpaper will do the job first time.. no trial and error.

lol

Clay beats all. Special clay made for cleaning cars. Check Builders Warehouse. I have the Meguiars Clay Kit which I've used a few times on my entire car. There are cheaper clays though.

Couple of years ago in Englang on holiday, some coastal bird emptied its insides on the car.... it was dark, and I went to go clean the car quick... ended up cleaning the bird's mess with the wrong side of the sponge... it was one of those sponges with the wire-effect on one side :o

But yeah, baby oil, etc will work well. I'd rather use boiling water to soften it, then use rubbing alcohol.
It's the ingredients in some of the stuff that does the job.... for instance Doom will clean wine out of your carpet.
