How Does A Cartoon Lead to Idolatry ?

Assumptions the mother off all F ups. So stfu :)
 
I'm thinking it is idolatry in any case, evidenced the fact that they'll be willing to kill in the name of not having cartoons of their prophet drawn

EDIT: I'm implying that they idolise NOT drawing, or letting anyone else, draw their prophet

Go read, killings in there somewhere. A priest was murdered, buildings were firebombed, lots of other deplorable actions due to a cartoon.
And dont bs, isn't it a thing in your religion to try to live up to Mohammad's standards, i.e. living like him will get you into heaven? And you say you don't idolise?

There are killings attributed to the drawings, and these occur mostly in the very militant areas.

The south park controversy was a single dude blown out proportion.

To tar every Muslim with the same brush is ignorant and wrong. Nobody was killed in sa, and while a few ppl did let emotion take over and call in death threats they amounted to nothing. The issue was discussed and resolved.

You are right in a way about muslims following the way of life of the prophet, however idolising him is not correct (unless thats your definition of it).

A a journalist put it, when it comes to drawing Muhammed (pbuh). It would be stupid of the artist to think that it will not warrant a response, and even stupider to expect it all to be civil.

Please explain to me what you think the advert achieved? what was its purpose?

Before we jump to the myth of freedom of speech remeber there are topics which are banned by many of the countries that proclaim it.

Perception is that it is "stupid" because of Muslim intolerance on the issue.

We are not allowed to idolise our prophet. Not allowed to paray to him. In Saudi if you kneel down to pray to any thing that was apart or belonged to him you will be whipped. Its forbidden.
Do your research!!

Our stand might be hard for you non believers to fathom, get overselves. Just because it seems strange to your "norms" why not ask the relevant questions like why doesn't your faith stand up to such persecution??
