Our company recently launched a new product where you get R49 per month top-up for 24 months for a once-of fee of R99. That's over a R1000's worth of airtime, and trust me, the math is solid, we are not losing money on this.
Now, not to be funny about it, but isn't something wrong in a scenarion where the markup on airtime sales is so high that companies don't actually NEED to charge so much for contracts?
Does anyone know how much money a service provider gets from a Vodacom or MTN when they sell airtime?
