ok, so I was messing around with my k850i and I noticed there's track id, and so far, i've only got two songs it doesn't have! how does it get the songs so accurite and stuff??

I have also wandered about this before? Does Sony have a database that they compare the track against or something?

They run it through the Gracenote database server. Works about the same as Tunatic for your computer. It generates a Fingerprint/Blueprint for that piece of music it's hearing - and compares that with the billions of others in the database. Then returns you the results. Easy - Fast - Accurate

Accurate has in how? song name, artist, year etc?

well, it's gives you the title, artist and album,

but, it just uses a 5 second sample, and then takes a tiny bit of time (about 5 seconds) and then you got all the info.

It's not just that it works, it's just that it works so bloody well, I mean, it's fast, and I used a wide spectrum of songs and it gets it every time! I'm really amazing

it even picked up ***ofpolisiekar!
I'm really impressed by this little feature
(it adds a little sunlight on the more then bleak vodaphone software on me phone)
