Stilbaai - Western Cape, RSA, African Continent, Planet Earth (for Vodacom benefit)

Cell C - Works flawlessly an absolute dream come true!
Vodacom - Works but is unusable for the whole of December so Vodacom upset of the holidaymakers!
MTN - Almost as bad a Vodacom but fell over from mid-December to the start of January 2013.
8.ta - No cell no score!

Vodacom needs to understand that (while their heads are buried in the sand counting profits) they are seriously upsetting the customers who holiday here. Many come here for a month and a month with no service means your client is at best upset!

So while you are saving money not providing extra capacity in places like Stilbaai, you are upsetting your high-rollers who have holiday homes here and expect a usable service! As for us locals, we have Cell C SIM cards fitted instead!

You should at the very least roll in a few temporary towers for the season as you do elsewhere!

Right I'm back to designing garden furniture from unsold Vodacom SIM packs... I've not sold any since October 2012. :)

My data signal with Cell C has been disappointing. I frequently have to reboot by phone to get my data back. If I go through an area where the Cell C signal is weak or non-existent, it tends to go AWOL altogether.

Then there are calls and text messages I don't get. I send a text message to a friend, they receive it, but I do not receive the response. I question my loyalty if I am not alone in this :(
