Just a question on the side... Is there a way that i can check my monthly data usage on my 10Gb 3G bundle? The modem is switched between various PC's, so the data counters are incorrect and i would like to see what the total usage of my bundle is.

Send a blank SMS to 188 and your balance is SMS'd back. Or dial *188# from the USSD tool on the 8ta dashboard. An SMS will be sent to you with your balance. I just use the first option. Just remember to disconnect and reconnect before you check your balance, as it only updates when you restart your connection.

You can also register at the online portal on the 8ta website and see your balances, but i haven't tried that yet.
