How has being in a relationship changed you?

I got nothing. Seems to have made me bitter and less caring.

I'm in an open relationship, but i feel like my relationship has made me a lot more mature and open minded about the world. I'm also grateful to have someone that gets me even with all my bs and quirks

Or change you into a Klingon.

The best relationship I've ever had, the "lady" didn't try to make me "anything".

If I had something to do with my friends or I wanted to do something on my own-no issues. No expectations, no jealousy, nothing bad. Sometimes I didn't have to see her for a week.

Only thing was it was about convenience. Not "love".

I do prefer that over a woman trying to change me, even for the better. I'm good enough the way I am. I aint broken.

I will never get married. Marriage is for religious people. I always make that clear on day 1. Needless to say, some relationships will last for a week, but it sure has a fun factor.

Well, being single most of my life made me more "selfish" and impatient. If something or somebody annoys me I can pack up and leave/ignore them and not really worry about a fallout. If I want something, I buy it. I don't have to ask nobody for permission or explain myself to anybody. I do not have to inconvenience myself for another person either.

So considering that, people that have been in relationships from a younger age are probably more open, patient, considerate etc.

I have noticed though that my friend who has also been single for most of his life changed the moment he met a girl. He became more confident, loosened up (and annoyingly kept on talking about her). Then she left and he changed back. Rinse and repeat...same **** every time.

Personally, I dunno if I'll ever be able to adjust to being so tightly "coupled" with somebody. But apparently these things change you over night so who knows :p

Either your spell check is dodge or you drunk. Took me 2 reads to get your point which is totally valid. Look at your 1st sentence. Did "he" make you selfish. Get my point?

What people need to understand is this: some people are happy without the need to be with someone "officially".

I NEVER feel lonely. EVER. People just can't grasp the idea because their mommys and daddies told them you HAVE to be with someONE. " I need to be completed"

I gather that people meet their soul mates. I even appreciate it and to some degree long for it. But it isn't and will NEVER be me.

I'm way too much of a narcissist. I'm COMPLETE. Yes I just said that.

Whenever I'm tired of being happy, I find myself a girlfriend that lasts for longer than a month. The next 6 months is a battle to get out of the relationship. I've left a TITANIC wake of women that hate me. I REALLY dislike them too. Enough to forget them long enough to do it again and again, and again etc. Etc.

So I understand your thinking.

Before everyone else has a moral **** fit, I respect your choices too, and hope you find what you looking for and you stay happily in love.

No matter how many times I've been judged for how I live my life.....
