I'm on beer number n.... so I hope I don't make a complete fool of myself.
Let's say you earn R6000 and you work 8hr/day, 20 days a month (5 X 4) -
R6000/160hr = R37.50/hr
So, it's not all that unlikely.
No one works 24hrs for 30 days.
Edit: I should stay away from accounting. There are 52 weeks in a year, not 48, so you work for a bit more that 20 days per month.
