Look for the money to clear Tuesday night, or Wendsday morning.

It normally takes around 3 business days. I've done a transfer from ABSA to FNB on a Saturday and the amount only showed on that following Wednesday. Don't know if that was just particularly slow though.

I think tomorrow if you're lucky otherwise Wednesday as the transaction was placed over the weekend.

Usually it is te next business day, the funds should be available. However, when want it paid same day you must instruct your bank, but at a price of cause;)

Before 15:00 the day is usually the next business day, after 15:00 is usually 2 business days. I'm not entirely 100% on how it works with EFT over the weekends though.

Someone transfered some money on Saturday (18:00), So I should get it tomorrow? I need it. :p

If the transaction is done over a weekend, you'll only see the money EARLIEST Monday night 00:00 (meaning Tuesday)

again 2 business days usually...i thought everyone knew this?

Everyone does, but it appears Heita is the kind of person who thinks that by asking the question and stating he needs the money on Sunday, would somehow get preferential treatment.

It's like those type of people who phones you, clearly a wrong number, apologizes for being a wrong number, then 5 minutes later phones you again thinking that, maybe if they tried the same number again, magically, I would turn into the person they want to speak to...

Since it was an ancient topic, I hoped the 2 or 3 days was ancient as well, meaning it could be faster now?

Have EFT processing times improved by now?
It's the weekend and someone was supposed to process and EFT from FNB to FNB to me this morning, was wondering how long it should take for a notification of payment to show up.

Interbank should be ASAP, unless it was a very big amount.

I'm impressed by Capitec's times. Before 12am it's usually the next day with next day meaning somewhere during the night. The website was down once and when I made the transaction the evening it appeared in a few hours. Interbank should usually be nearly instant for all banks.
