How long does it take Vodacom to activate a service?

Hi, I ordered the Vodacom R149 2gig+2gig bundle on 29 July 2011. On 2 August I received my modem. I am now trying to get my sim card activated, and after numerous phone calls to try and get it activated, and even e-mails to customer care, who also only passes the buck on to somebody else, and can't tell me how long it would take to activate my card, I would like to find out if anybody is able to tell me how long they usually take to do the activation.
I feel I am paying for something I am not getting and don't like that at all:mad:

I assume from your post that you went with Vodacom Direct? They might be having problems activating your line because the Mofaya deal has come to a end on the last day of July and have been removed from the system so no more activations and upgrades can be done using that dealsheet. I suspect they are trying to find a way to have the deal unlocked so that they can proceed with the activation.
