Or do they not want customers.

More than a week ago I've sent them a mail to request an installation in an area covered by them (according to their website), to date I have not received a response.

I mailed them directly. I wasn't aware I need to book an installation.

on the coverage map if your area is covered click on your house an order link becomes available you fill out all the info and you will get an order number - then depends on how busy they are , you can call them (and you ISP) and sort of nudge them to move the process along

Vuma never respond to e-mails. Call them if you want/need something

Sent them an email 2 months ago, still waiting. Pretty pathetic if you ask me, it's just sad that they are the only ones that's going to trench in my area, would jump on a different network in a heartbeat.

You would think that, in this age where people literally carry phones around with them, making a call would be a no-brainier, as opposed to get irked over an email being ignored.

I sent them a mail last year October, still waiting for the reply, best to just phone them

Quickest way to get your order through and installation scheduled is to visit vumatel.co.za/coverage - select your address and complete the order form. No need to email or call Vumatel.

I'm in a strange situation...

Vodacom says they are currently rolling out Fibre in my area(Bluff), so I can pre order...
The Fibre provider is Vuma, however on their coverage my area is not covered...(Doesn't even say "Build in progress")

:sneaky: Sigh...

Use their website and place an order. Their infrastructure has to be lit up before they will arrange installation. I followed the process and got a call once our area was live. Installation took about 45 minutes. I was impressed.

Hi, I am also waiting for fibre in the Bluff. I checked on vodacom and they sent me a quote so will see if it happens anytime soon. On Vumatel website, when asked to be kept in the loop, apparently there are still 332 sign ups required before anything can be done. Bluff at the moment only 23% have requested fibre.

Let us know how it goes. This seems to be a common stunt - even taking orders for so called coverage, especially in KZN.

Vuma almost too more than a month for me to install fibre to home from the flat box
