Are you bilingual/multilingual? If so how many languages do you speak and to what degree of fluency?

For the sake of discussion "cunning" is not a number nor a measure of fluency.
 
Fluent in English and Afrikaans. Us Afrikaans Natalians had no choice but to learn the English language deliciously.

I can greet in Zulu and Xhosa. I'm such an overachiever.
 
Fluent in German and English. Little bit of French (4 years in school). Afrikaans is rusty.

Edit. Can swear fluently in Italian
 
I guess fluently means you can hold a basic conversation?
So 2 for me with 2 more "learnt".

My grandfather could properly speak 7 :cool:

I loik to have talking da afrikaans, ne.

A tiny bit of German. Brot en Wasser. See?
 
Afrikaans, English and Spanish.

Spanish not what it used to be but I was fluent once. Lived in South America.

Can understand some Portuguese by proxy.

Understand but can't speak, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Xhosa, Sotho
 
English, Hebrew fluently,

Afrikaans barely understand a few things,
French, again barely enough to understand anything.
Mandarin, just a few words.
 
English and Afrikaans but I can greet in 11 and have... well, had basic Spanish and Italian.

Understand some Dutch, Flemish, German
