Well. My upbringing is the EC. Lived in Gauteng for 4 years. Did a year long stint in Limpopo and Mpumalanga. If you're malleable and mix with the locals you should be able to learn languages fast. Oh I'm black BTW, obviously.

Thanks, that's awesome. I was just kidding about the proving it Wish I was fluent in a 3rd language. Been trying to get into German via that app, but stopped a few months ago.

Just like many Western languages, many African languages have similar words for the same thing. Like French, Latin and English. So I can see how she understands the basics of many South African languages.
