Very well reasoned although I do believe times have changed. A woman doesn’t need a man to father her child anymore (she can use a sperm donor) or to raise the child with. Single parenting / unwed mothering does not have the stigma attached it did years ago and a woman isn’t necessarily helpless when she is heavily pregnant. I still drove myself to the Gym (and had a light workout) the morning before I gave birth. And most importantly there are ways for a woman to prove paternity of her child and for the man to ensure it is his child he is raising. And vice versa, I know of a girl who doesn’t know who her child’s father is and she is too scared to find out so sometimes a mother doesn’t always know for certain (obviously this being a major exception).
 
Women should not be judged any differently to men, although in SA they are judged very harshly.

I've never had a virgin and have no wish to go there. Whatever a woman has done in her past is none of my business unless she wants to tell me.

I remember hearing a woman in her mid twenties on 567 a few years ago who said she had lost count after 300 partners.

And then you get those woman that pass another mans spawn off as her husbands. Saw this one thing were this couple had 5 kids, years later due to a medical blood test he found out one kid was not his, when he had the rest tested it ended up that he only fathered 1 of the 5 and the poor sod paid for them all those years :D

Times **have changed**! My post relates to a biological imperative (instinct) that was developed at the dawn of humanity to ensure survival. Men fathered as many children as possible on any compliant female (all men are MCP’s) for** survival** reasons and women claimed to their regular men that they were monogamous for **survival** reasons.

I am also of the opinion that the sex drives of men and women differ. Men are driven by sensation primarily (it feels good) and women are driven by reproduction (I want a baby).

Whatever tickles your fancy. Maybe the above held true 30 odd years ago but times HAVE changed. People HAVE evolved. I enjoy sex because it is fun, not to procreate. Some of my female friends never want kids. A gay couple I know paid a surrogate mother to have a kid for them. Most pregnant women aren't helpless. Alot of men believe in monogamy.

It is not as clearcut as you think. I think you saw Defending the Caveman one too many times.

It is a theatre production. Hilarious really. You would enjoy it. And I am not being sarcastic here. It really is a good show. There was also one called Defending the Cave woman. Just as brilliant.

Why count your partners in the first place? To "show off"??

When im with someone i dont want to know about who and what she did. My time with her is "my time", in that time i would expect her to do as i would, stay faithful. If you're with someone and feel the need to sleep with someone else, that's when you're a slag.

This goes to show case the typical female schizophrenic attitude about sexual world. In the first quote you are referencing my sexual history. You are pointing to the number of previous partners I have had and the manner in which I choose to conduct that part of my life. This is ironic considering the title of your article and your attitude toward sex as displayed in the second quote.

Not sure if you are aware of this or not but "sperm donors" are in fact, quite amazingly MEN ... Unless of course the places you are meaning are Stud Farms, in which case they are MALE animals. You may or may not be aware but it is not possible to impregnate yourself with samples procured from those establishments - you can try but you will just be wasting your money.
