How much bandwidth does internet radio use?

I am a Winamp user, winamp has shoutcast radio, it's okay, but I never really liked the layout and usage.

My music is in winamp, but I tuned into Windows Media Player 11 internet radio.

The quality is good and I can browse the net and it doesn't skip.

The channel I'm listening to now is a 192k channel. How much bandwidth does it use per hour? Or per day?

Any ideas?

1440 * 60 = 86400KB per hour

86400KB / 1024 (1024KB per 1MB) = 84.375MB per hour

Not to derail the topic, but had one techie telling me that internet radio doesn't go through your adsl router...

physically unplugged the PC from the network... radio died... he asked me why I did it... I just looked at him in disbelief... and left it there.

No doubt he's capping himself frequently
