I have a 4 Mbps uncapped with Mweb. Just received my first "Abuse" letter once I had reached 376 gigs for the month.

these are my last 13 months stats



January, 2013............386 gigs
December, 2012........ .210
November, 2012 .........301
October, 2012 ............257
September, 2012 ........297
August, 2012...............231
July, 2012 ..................247
June, 2012 .................346
May, 2012 ..................375
April, 2012 ..................305
March, 2012 ............. ..284
February, 2012..............290
January, 2012 ..............296

Could you please state your line speed at total amount of gigs downloaded on a heavy month please.

There is a Thread open already about MWEB abuse notification.
There is not set amount according to them. It has to do with pattern behavior apparently.

I have never received on of these and I'm on a 4mbps uncapped and do over 800GB month on a different ISP though.

Perhaps you should try out their "premium" uncapped product... :whistle:

Thos amounts look fine. Are you torrenting over SSL? That would make a difference.

Sorry to go off topic here but what ISP are you with (and what account) Amphibious?
 
I average on my 1mbps about 70gb

I don't download constantly, but when I do, it's awesome to be able to without worrying about paying more or having degraded service.

Don't be an idjit and just download normally. Hell, no idea where you store the **** you download, for all I know you're one of those DVD reseller guys on the corner ripping off the poor actors who can't eat their caviar tonight.
 
What are you using to download? You must be doing something fishy bypassing their rules.
 
How do you tell how many gbs you are using? When I try login to Mweb customer zone it says the page doesnt exist

1MBS uncapped, not running 24/7 , but seem to get full 6mps speeds most of the time when i do download during the day
