It's not fancy. It's the area unfortunately. And the area is where we want/need to stay.

It's also difficult to get a place that's pet friendly (dog specifically).

We lived in Woodstock last year and the rent was R11k for a 2 bedroom apartment, but we had to drive everywhere or take the bus. Now we're within walking distance to everything, even the CBD.
