Hi,

I was wondering what is considered 'normal' Gb usage per month? Is 25Gb per month low or medium usage? What do other people use on average?

Thanks. :)

I'm using 8GB normal cap, along with 20GB local cap.

Though if bandwidth were a bit cheaper, I'd be happy with a 25-50GB normal cap account.

There's already another thread just like this - just search for it in this forum.

I use just over 100gigs when not downloading series or movies, when I do it's obviously more. Closer to 200gigs.

yeah, more than one. they usually end up being like 'my one is so much bigger than your one' and the truth is usually lost in such threads. as for actual use (excluding downloading) i feel no one goes thru more than 12Gb per month.

Nah for me its closer to 30 if you include steam. Unless you regard steam as downloading.

30GB of gaming data per month is almost impossible, unless you can play 24/7 for 31 days straight.

As soon as you start to download games & demos from Steam, you'll easily exceed 30GB though.

Youtube chows bandwidth.

clearly you are not familiar with hd content.... for instance tonight i went through 24gb and that was only one movie (1080p Avatar extended cut), last night game of thrones + falling skies = 4gb.... not to mention youtube/pr0n streaming which devours bandwidth as well

With Team Fortress 2, you can change your rates. With some rates, you can easily go through 30gig with a couple hours a day over the whole month.
