How Much for Golf 5 Gti?

Might be selling my 07 model, it's modded though so not sure if u would be keen.
 
I really like the Megane Sport. It isn't all that ugly, looks a bit sameish tho.

Is that the only reason you can think up for the Megane, it's french?? i can understand about the styling, Renault take's a different approach to styling that not everyone likes. As far as power and handling is concerned thanks to there F1 knowledge, the Megane is leading the hot hatch sector. I can't say much for GTi it's under powered and over priced here in south africa.. hardly ever see GTi's on the roads in UK, and if you do see one it's most problebly an R32

Ye its french.

I do respect the little car.... very nice power, good handling, brembo brakes. OZ wheels.... it just doesnt have that hot hatch presence if you know what I mean...

GeeWiz we not in the UK now are we...

Well if only you could see the Golf 5 GTi's you get there trust me you would, you get the GTi 300 (300hp tuned from Vw):D, GTi Anniversary edition and there's one more but i can't remember what they called it.. so there that's why i dont like the standard GTi.. and over there the R32 cost's 3000-4000 pounds more than GTi so i much rather have that over a GTi anyday!
 
Why dont you wait until later this year and get the Mk 6 GTI?

It will most probably be the same price? Give or take R10 - R15k.

If you're silly enough to pay that much for a VW, then I'm sure you're smart enough to wait...

Besides the FACT that all these cars lose value faster then GTi....I just love the Gti....I dont care which if Megane or ST is faster the Gti....besides Gti looks really good inside and its not heavy on petrol like ST:sick:

How much slower is the GTI to the ST and i am not talking about paper figures, i'm looking for on the road, head to head tests.
And your sirion remark, GTI and ST are classed as hot hatches so they can be compared to each other, Sirion and Rs4, not even in the same category and only simlarity is that they both run on petrol and have 4 wheels.

which dealer was that ... i could find a DSG with s/r and jsut 18s for R292k ... so really want to know which dealer did the deal at R289k

Hey Bud,

the car is a 07 model, factory extra's where 18" Wheels which have been changed now though, still have the factory 18" though. S/R. Smash and Grab tint, 5 year extended unlimited mielage warranty, car has 59000km. PM me if you keen and we can discuss the cosmetic and performance upgrades that i have done and pricing.
