...as a percentage of theoretical capacity...

0...never use it ever
100...I push the connection 24/7

Please also specify what connection you're using (its meaningless info otherwise so play ball here). ADSL/3G/fiber/whatever.

I'll go first

On 50 meg fiber - usages <1 of capacity

----

Previously on ADSL:
4 meg...probably round the 10% mark
before that
512/1 meg...pushed it near 24/7

On PC (always on) ADSL: 4Mbps uncapped - 80%
On tablet/iPad (while away from PC) 3G: 21Mbps 3GB cap - 20%

yes 100%

While I sleep my ADSL works on my night surfer downloads...

40Mbs DSL - 20% (utilisation)

LTE 1GB - 95% (of cap)

10% on average
100% in bursts (typically movie time Friday or Saturday)

On 50Mbps optical fibre. It's probably used around 50%-70% of the time, for basic Internet browsing, streaming radio or streaming TV and video (like Netflix etc). We used 290GB last month.

Before I lost all my series probably 50% of cap, now 100%... Line probably running full tilt only 50% of the time though because I'm away from the house a lot and switch things off in case the puppy eats the wires;)

Afrihost 3G - manage to stay within 20gigs most months.

Would love to have DSL - but alas due to useless developers that is not a viable option for me at the moment.

more like a thimble rather than a cap

Its because my wife and in laws have figured out that using my wifi is cheaper than their OOB rates.

And they watch every facebook video someone likes.

I kill it with imgur

I use 10% of my ADSL and 30% of my mobile.
