How much longer load shedding in SA will continue for

On April 15, Brown said South Africa would still have to bear load shedding for the next two years
Now where did I hear this before? Deja Pooh.

The ANC wants Eskom to be perceived as incapable of resolving this issue. Cadres will soon suggest private entities get involved to resolve the issue. Welcome Guptas and Co. They buy in a a drastically reduced rate because of the "failed state" of Eskom. They flick a few switches over a few years and maybe fix a few things. A few years down the line hand it (sell) back to the state as a functioning entity at a HUGE profit. Split profits with Zoomer. Nice retirement annuity policy for Mr Butternut Head.

"appealing to South Africans to save electricity." "Eskom’s net profit decreased from R7.1bn to R3.6bn"

Eksdom need to make up their mind, they can't ask us to use less electricity, and then when we do, expect to still make a profit.

Logic = Fails

Eskom invests their profit and use it to fund future capital projects (like new power stations). If they don't make a profit, they need to borrow money for this. Or the government needs to pay them from the tax base. Having Eskom make a profit means less cost for taxpayers - if the government doesn't need to fund Eskom it can use those funds elsewhere or reduce taxes.

All this because some knucklehead politicians were to full of themselves & busy setting up deals to benefit themselves instead of doing their jobs properly. Gotta love the Africa failtrain!

We are so far down the hole it's just going to get worse. Bobby Banana Zimbabwe here we come. The most failed poorest country in the world. Until these clowns realise that you need brains, education and morals to manage a country. Sadly it will not happen for at least half a century.
