How much Vodacom subscribers pay for a voice call

Looks like Vodacom is the only network that brags about a rate that you can't really get in reality.......

Just because 5 out of 10 people make extensive use of the on net promotions that bring the average call rate down does not mean everyone is enjoying a low call rate.
 
What does blended mean?

If Vodacom's lowest pre-paid rate is 79c/min, how does that morph into 45c/min?

They compare all the calls made from all the packages which have lower rates. Prepaid promotions like Chat for 20 which cost R10 for 20min and Power Hour where 60min vc to vc calls costs only R7 or the power bundles where 60min vc to vc only costs R4 all that brings the average call rate down.

So you might be paying R1.80 per minute in a uchoose flexi contract but the promo's bring the rate down and Vodacom thinks that is good.
 
An explanation as to how these figures were arrived at would be helpful or are we expected to believe Vodacom ?
I get no where near that rate and actually more than double that rate .
 
It is a concern that postpaid customers pay considerably more than prepaid. What is the benefit of showing any sort of commitment

You are not showing commitment with a contract, you are showing that you are too poor to outright buy the handset you have.

Its quite easy actually just call at a certain time of the day while making sure you are on a certain calling plan while standing upside down on your head with your one hand blocking your other ear and then make sure the other party is also only on the Vodacom network which you can SMS them to enquire about I suppose....

So simple really,the way calling somebody on a cellphone should be.Quick,easy,convenient....;)
