How powerful the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 really is

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 launched in South Africa at end of August 2018.

The 6.4-inch smartphone has the same Infinity Edge display design sported by the new generation of Galaxy S-series smartphones, and includes an upgraded S Pen with Bluetooth connectivity.

"Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 beats the Galaxy S9 in overall performance".
Take that statement with a spade full of salt. Apart from storage , they pack the exact same hardware.

I reckon ~80% of users will get it 'free' on contract and never use it anywhere close to it's capabilities.

17% between the fastest one and the slowest one - nobody will notice.

I don't trust phone hardware, my S6 is still plenty strong, but when the manufacture artificially cripples the device then the specs don't mean much.

A near 4% increase is probably due to the phone having a bit of a better build in terms of e.g. ventilation.
Quite normal to have those deviations with the same hardware in laptops as well.

Real-world, there probably shouldn't really be a difference.
