How private are you really online?

Sometimes I wonder if the authors of these articles have ever heard of phone books.
 
TBH - as soon as you transact in any way online, you will not remain anonymous. Don't know why this comes as a surprise to most.
 
Every day people see where I live, where I work, what I drive, what my phone numbers are and even my ID Number. I jog the same route every weekend. My entire neighbourhood know that... oh the sheer horror!

If you want to be private maroon yourself on an island with no single other human being :whistle:
 
Amazing, 20 threads about privacy concerns if the US government collects some data to help it fight crime.

Hardly a word when private corporates collect even more data than that for personal profit.

The people in this country.... *sigh*

Just put the word "government" in front of something and they work themselves into a hysteria.
 
The targets were 4 woman, 1 man? Why?
Are woman sharing more? Are they less tech savy?
 
I tried, cant do much with my alias family name (there are enough people with the same name), and with my birth names nothing online that leads to anything of mine.

And supersunbird? Damn, I post all over the place lol.
 
I really hope nobody ever finds out that when I drink my late night coffee, I stand outside if it's a nice clear evening, and I pee on my lawn.
