How quickly can you spend R14 million?

Easy - pay of bond and put the rest into 2 equal portions for my kids in a trust.

I don't quite agree. I'd much rather not retire and still invest the money. How can a few weeks of fun possibly make up for wasting a lifetime of financial security. With that kind of backup you can just about do any job you might fancy, and take long unpaid sabbaticals any time you want and still end life golden.

Anybody who just blows that money is either stupid, or pretty sure such "accidental" windfalls will become a permanent feature of their life.

And no... I do not believe it was accidental.

I don't think crypto sites will accept that kind of payment. It's not like she had R14mil in cash in her own bank account.
 
R14 million? Easy.

Just buy R14m worth of airtime on a Vodacom SIM inside a modern smartphone and watch the OOB shark gobble it up ;)
