How SA compares on broadband speeds

I'm not sure if I should be interested in who comes #1 in up/down load speeds. All I want is a decent speed with a constantly available service, plus realistic caps.
 
i wonder when their "next generation" network will come into place.. soo much ad's and bs..

what a useless article. Rather compare to first world countries in order to provide some kind of aspiring motivation. In a small pond, the big fish is always the king.

I guess that out of the box thinking / mentality is fast draining from SA
 
Yip Telkom really screws us in the upload speeds... Maybe we need some goverment interferance :)
 
Being compared to the lowest common denominator indicates a lack of ambition, ability, and vision.

It doesn't explain why our high internet costs go along with such crap service.

- then it paints a whole new picture even if its only compared to african countries. very selective when it comes to comparing.
 
There was a similar article last week or the week before (can't remember exactly). Great - so now we know what we already knew and still we sit in a digital dark age. I have a business plan that can't get funding because of connectivity issues in this country (upload/download/caps etc etc). Needless to say I am incredibly angry *add swear words of your choice*
