I'm a gamer. Im going to the NAG Lan RAge, any recommendations? Dont want to unbalance my pc, but still get performance boost!

i would upgrade the gfx card to HD 6850 or HD 6870 ,whatever suites your budget, take 2 sells the HD 6870 Hawk for R1899 with shipping, killer card, have one myself :)

Bad experiences with AMD/ati graphics cards. Games like Witcher2, Saboteur and Fable3 had many problems with drivers and screen settings.
Really thinking of moving to Geforce card......

Or you could opt for the 560 nvida but way more expensive

So the consensus is a new graphics card is my best bet? Not a new CPU? More Ram?

Depending on your Power supply a Radeon 6870 would do you well.

550W Huntkey Power supply.
STAY AWAY from the Huntkey power supplies!

The only Huntkey PSU's that I can recommend is the X9 series.

The same goes to Gigabyte PSU's. The only Gigabyte PSU's that are acceptable is the Odin GT series.

There's nothing wrong with Huntkey PSU's. They our main brand in the shop I work at. We haven't had any issues bar 2 units 600w that came back with the 12v overvolting within a year period. Looked like it was only the 600w that has had this issue so far. I'm running a 900w in my rig and it's potent.

That is like saying the Coolermaster Extreme power is good.
been selling them for 3 years and I just don't have problems with them.

I still would not put a Huntkey in a PC that is considered gaming.
Corsair GS600 or TX 650, the TX will last twice as long as the Huntkey and Will let you be able to upgrade.

Buy a Proper PSU That will no limit you in the future.
a GS and TX will both handle cards up to the GTX 580's

The X9 900W is an awesome PSU - like I said: the X9 series from Huntkey is very good.

I really can't recommend any of the other Huntkey series PSU's, because they're the same (if not worse) than the Gigabyte Odin & Coolermaster Extreme series PSU's.
You'll find quite a few reviews online regarding the Huntkey PSU's that literally exploded when they tried to pull the rated wattage!

You'll be fine if you run off a Huntkey 550W PSU if your PC only draws 300W, and the same goes to the Gigabyte Odin 585. Just don't try pull 550W/585W from either of those PSU's!

Thanks for the update Gnome. I never knew that the SSD could cause issues that would appear like graphics card problems ;)
