How South Africa's power users roll

If you thought you were a power user because you have uncapped fibre and a Netflix subscription, think again.

This is barely an entry point into the hallowed ranks, according to the Netflix 2020 Survey conducted by MyBroadband.

I have UHD subs so use amazon, netflix and youtube

I specifically *do not* use dstv as its a dinosaur company and avoid showmax as I can see the individual pixels on my screen. To me, a real power user avoid dstv premium

Since when is a "power user" categorized by the streaming services they use? Surely being able to constantly actually push a computer to its limits makes you a "power users" and not just having Netflix?

Outrage from a non "power user".

This article felt like a last minute Christmas stocking filler consisting of socks and toothpaste.

lol, I am definitely not a power user. While I would love to see a little more sport, not at 900 ZAR a month. Perhaps if my monetary situation changed dramatically. Till then, I am quite fine being just an average Joe.

I honestly thought this was going to be about Eskom.

I thought Power User is the term we use to tell the network and sys admins to give us a local admin user and access to their file shares.
