How the NSA sabotaged the internet

Why can't all governments work together to better human kind! Maybe we would get closer to space travel ;)

Back on topic, wouldn't be surprised if they have google's mainframe a click away on demand but Larry's lips are sealed with threat of being shoved in a hole in a maximum security hidden center

Alistair Fairweather thinks the US government needs to condemn the NSA’s attack on one of the world’s most important resources – the internet

What a joke of a statement to make !

Although I and the vast majority of us don't know the inner workings of the US government, we can at least assume they actively encourage the NSA to do as much as they can on the internet, which as we now know, includes breaking password encryption.

Snowden walked out of that very organisation with all its secrets. Who's to say others have not done the same and sold their treasures to criminal organisations and other governments? The NSA didn't know Snowden did what he did until he told them. The best assumption to make is that everything is already compromised.

This is a total eff-up.

America completely lost the moral high ground and is now in no position to criticise others and especially not in a position to intervene.

US corporations cannot be trusted no matter what they say/claim. Look at all the revelations ... the FBI even own sites/service many relied on for anonymity. Microsoft jumped into bed with the NSA as part of PRISM the moment they could do so ... first on the bandwagon.

Who/what can be trusted now?! Cloud services are very dangerous places now. And when companies say they will not store private information they are not talking for the alphabet soup of US agencies that take whatever they want when they want it.

We need a major intervention of epic proportions to repair this mess. Who/what/where/when?
