Bought the 60Gig bundle at Game and had it posted to me. Contacted them today to get it activated and they said they'll get someone from CellC to call me back.

But nobody from CellC has gotten back to me yet. Now I'm stuck...
Don't have a cell number for sim yet either. Going to a CellC store is out of the question since the nearest one is 120km from where I live. And the customer care line requires a CellC phone number which I don't have.

Want to get it activated ASAPsince I'm running out of cap...

i think they're different processes. you have to get your sim rica-ed in order to be able to use it, and then cell c has to activate your sim for their new '4G' network in order for you to get maximum speeds.

Well I appear to be connected now after we got through to someone else who RICA'ed the card. Maybe that was all that was needed?
I seem to be connected on Vodacom Edge Roaming

you'll get much faster speeds once they activate your sim for '4G'. however, you probably don't get coverage for that just yet anyway...

We don't have ADSL or 3G here anyways...Just GPRS Edge, but:

R166 per month for 5Gig @ CellC
vs
R389 per month for 2Gig at Vodacom

It was an "extremely difficult" choice. Took me quite a while to decide if it was worth looking into. (A trip from the kettle to my room)

I do however wish they would install the 4Gs towers in my town, I miss my online gaming...
5Gig per month at such a low price is a good start though.

Thx CellC

No problem.
We're sure that we'll have you covered in HSPA 900+ sometime in the near future.
