How to beat Spain ?

I honestly have been disappointed with Spain this tournament - realistically, they have by FAR the best squad based on individual talent, and this tournament really should have been easy from them from the beginning. Instead they've looked as if they're struggling a bit... 1 - 0 against a Portugal team who seemed to have suddenly aged 10 years with a "star" player who tripped over the ball and cried for fouls every time he was tackled. With players like Alonso, Fabregas, Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, Torres, Casillas and Alonso they really should be doing better.

Of course, they may be just about to peak - in which case they're going to be a very difficult team to beat. But I don't see that happening. Teams like Brazil, Argentina and Germany seem to have a much more urgent approach to the tournament imho.

with 2 Alonsos they DEFINITELY should be doing better...lol

But i hear you - they are not as crushing / fluid as other teams. Thena gain they haven't really faced a huge threat so maybe they haven't needed to be as crushing.They do also seem to have an *easier* route to the semis (imo) than the other teams so maybe they will raise their game when necessary

Barcelona beats a team 1 - 0 then you get people saying, ''they dont look dangerous''.

Spain cannot beat teams 4 - 0 in every game. Because Germany beat England 4 - 1, people are quick to say they are in form but if truth be told Spain would have probably thumped England as well.

Spain's test will come against Paraguay.

Correction Spain's test will come in the Semi's IF they make it through... in this WC one should not under estimate any team
