I've never checked the balance of my giga 200. However today I thought I should probably check what the balance is but nothing seems to be working.

*101# just says failed. I can't get through to 140 even though I have very good signal and my internet works. I tried smsing "balance" to 14302 and the message sends but I never get a reply.

Cell C's "My Account" is offline and I tried going to https://ecare.cellc.co.za/ecare/mycellc/mobile/ but I don't have a cellphone number. Just the sim number and I can't seem to get the phone number either.

Please Cell C rep, you have my sim number from a pm earlier in the year if you can please have a look. Otherwise I will send it again if necessary.

*101# does work for Giga 200. How are you sending USSD? What device and software?

You can try sending *147*100# to get the mobile number for the SIM.

I'm using an HTC Mozart. Also tried the sms way by using a Vodafone B2000 router. I'll try again tomorrow. Maybe it's just a temporary problem this evening. Or for all I know it's my phone.

Occasionally I get no response to *101#, trying again later works, except with the Huawei modems. After getting stuck with USSD, they only seem to start sending after powering off and on again (i.e. being unplugged and plugged in again).

Thanks ginggs, I hope it works tomorrow. :)
