How to completely delete your Facebook account

I would say, nothing get deleted, it goes to another storage.
 
Data in a database is never deleted, it simply gets marked as inactive or archived

The nature of a database is to mark records as available to be used, so yes it does get deleted. The question is, does facebook ever delete data?
 
Untill recently there wasn't a delete account feature.

I deleted the 10 comments and 2 photos I had. Then remove my friends and played with sec settings. Create a fake gmail address, changed facebook account to that email, then changed my name etc, to something close to my details, got a picture of someone on the net, and then he was my new me.

After 6 months of joining and disjoining groups and comments, i kept a very low profile.

All this I did from a public computer.

Then de-activate your account. Delete gmail account.

This isn't a 100% sure way to delete youself, but this way you currupt the data, and then de activate youself.

If they really want to analyze everything and check, they can, but why would this account out of millions draw attention for such history.
