My daughter rent a room at a house. The ladies 2 sons is gamers. They game all the time. They are 22 years old.
She said 2 weeks ago, she got home and found her freezer getting hot. She investigate and found her son took the power extension for his computer to play games with a friend.

Is their a way to control them.

Should this not be in the drunk posters thread?

X-Box wireless controller works magic, but only in June and after 21-00, otherwise use DSTV Remote!

Clearly this is evidence that not only do video games lead to violent crimes, but also to widespread hunger/starvation in Africa.

We must act now!

Would you rather these two gamers were in the pub getting drunk and having accidents with innocents on the way home from the pub?

I would be pretty pissed off if that happened to my freezer and the contents defrosted.
Things like that should be addressed with the owner of the property though and if the outcome is not favourable then move.

I assume OP is Afrikaans.

Despite the grammar etc, there're still more (useful!) responses when asking in English than would be received if this were to have been asked in Afrikaans.

The problem isn't that they're gamers, it's that they're douchebags. Unplugging a freezer for whatever reason is not on.

What they do behind closed doors is their concern. Just make sure they're paying for the power they use (only negative I can think of). Guys that sit inside on PC are better than guys that get rowdy around the braai as far as tenants go...
