How to discover your number?

Does anyone know how to discover your number on a Cell C data-only SIMcard (one of the promotional data deals)? It seems the number written on the pack by the issuing shop is wrong so that when I attempted to log a customer query my number doesn't show up on the system.

Bear in mind too that because these are data-only SIMs, I can't phone out or send an SMS to discover the originating number. This is also stopping me from registering on the website. I assume there's a simple solution out there? Thanks!
 
Thanks so far. Pse note I did say this is a data-only (promotional package) SIM with no 'airtime' so I cannot send an SMS as Madhawk suggested even though this would indeed be the logical solution.

And unfortunately for whatever reason (perhaps because my Cell C signal is piggybacked from a Vodacom tower?) the USSD service stopped working some time ago for all of us in this area [can't check balances e.g.], so that doesn't work either! Have I thus run out of options?
 
on my 5GB card, I can use MDMA and send *111*'my other cell phone no'# and I get a call me from my 5GB sim tel no
 
Thx for all the above solutions, which between them finally got me my number -- which bore absolutely no relation to the number the Cell C shop staff who sold me the data promotion SIM insisted was my number! Now perhaps at last I can get Cell C to take me seriously and tackle our local (VC) tower ("Buffelspoort NWP") which has been producing a regularly unusable Cell C data signal for more than six weeks!

If you ever need to log a TT, on your sim card is a sim number, from that any one at help desk can get your number.

Whoosh tel number

Hi have 24GB of prepaid whoosh - how do I find out what the phone number for the sim card is? I'd like to be able to login to the CellC portal, but don't quite know how to access the account.

I tried sending an SMS to my phone using the software but it failed.
 
Check your message Inbox on the Cell C dashboard. You 'should' of received a message when you RICA'd your phone. It will show your Cell C number.

I never RICA'd it - I don't think. Wait, maybe that sms is on the wife's laptop, I'm assuming messages are kept on the PC they're received on?
