How To Edit Like This? Anyone?

How do you edit like this? And make pictures look more professional with Photoshop or any other software?

Hate to break it to you, but 2 out of 4 of those are gross, 1 looks like minimal PP, and one isn't bad.

There are many ways to work with images, from HDR, to levels to colour correction and compositing... the list goes on.
 
I'm taking guesses here as there are many possibilities, but:

1. Composite. Looks crap.
2. Probably just colour correction, the lighting setup is what mattered.
3. Max saturation.
4. Added vibrance.

2 is also a composite, but you're right about lighting.
3 is max saturation and clarity probably.

There's a lot of mixed lighting there.. She's lit from the left, while the main light for the car is supposedly from the right (check the shadows. The car is also lit from the left. Can imagine this was shot in studio, car and model separate to each other, and the background separate to them. The background is also a long exposure, so little to no chance this was one shot.

It's definitely a composite of 3 images... 100% correct.
 
1+3 are especially terrible, the girl in 2 looks like she was cut from another picture with scissors and stuck on there... 4 is ok but the whites are way too bright
 
#3 has that HDR gone bad look - it's a phase most people experimenting with HDR go through.

True - I'm generating a stack of HDR images right now from a couple of assignments this morning and unless you know what to look for you can't tell it's HDR.

I hate that surreal look people sometimes seem to strive for. :sick:
