Hey guys hows it going.

Pretty new to the whole world of gaming laptops and windows systems in general

However id like to ask anyone here if their willing to sell their machine. I am looking for one!

Preferably something with a 3070ti or better!

Thanks for reading and reach out if you do have a laptop laying about.

[Edit for ballpark amount :R12000 to a maximum of R20000]

[Edit 2 : This is for my own windows adventures, no gonna resell or trade it anyway. I keep my elecontics for like 5+ years before bothering with a replacement. So yeah just wanted to say your machine would be in good hands 😎]

Yeah im on carb as well thanks! Just thought the makret was slow

No such thing as a "gaming laptop"

Power draw and heat are perpetual issues that almost always lead to an early grave

Also depends heavily on the type of "gaming"

Jassus you can talk de poo. Guess that Stuff magazine I have, showing an 80k gaming laptop was a dream....or you know better than international media...

And by the way, even if you are right about power and heat issues, early deaths of a gaming laptop does not mean there is no such thing as a gaming laptop - just that they are prone to failure.

Man, there are days I truly regret the internet was ever born....

Power is limited to balance heat so regardless of what spec CPU you chuck in there, it is capped way below desktop builds

Same issue on GPU

Same issue with upgrades.

There is no "gaming laptop" that isn't some horribly stunted, sad, copy of an actual gaming machine.

Just note. Laptops run HOT. That's normal. Batteries die quickly when you game , even if plugged in. Without a battery they become useless. They don't perform the same as a similar desktop system.

That said. I prefer laptop above a desktop as long as it has warranty and on-site support. I've barely touched my desktop the last 5-6 years.

Something breaks and it doesn't have warranty it gets expensive or becomes brick.

RAM screwed prices which give you less and less value.

20K laptop won't get you much in terms of gaming. But you didn't say what type of games.

Yeah you are on the right track on Carb. As always, be carefully of getting scammed.

Stay away from Dell.

Goodluck with Windows.

Can't play games on Mac.

Blah blah , follow your credit cards desires.

Really? How much bet?

A grand over budget.

That should compare to the 3070ti but using a lot less power
Problem with that one is that the RAM is not upgradable at all.
Apart form it being evetech...

Don't buy a laptop for gaming. Regardless of what you get, disappointment is guaranteed.
20k is a semi decent PC rig.
