With the door, I experienced a similar issue. I contacted the master, who mended my door. However, the crack reappeared after some time.

I hanged a few doors, in my first tiny house. I got lazy, did the following:

1. Did not chisel for the hinges after the first door. Sue me.
2. Use a circular to cut to size. Use the right blade.
3. If I had to do it all over I will simply buy one of these:

How much do carpenters charge to re-hang or fit double doors?

So in my rental the double doors to balcony are buggered by someone who tried to re-fit it and now don’t close properly. Apparently been in this semi unfunctional state for years now so unlikely they will fix it(they fixed other more immediate issues with plumbing, structural etc).

Minor issue to fix for a carpenter from what I can see(basically the hinges were set wrong and the screw holes seem lose.. if it was just lose I can fix but they seem incorrect position).. but I’m not a carpenter and know from experience that it goes wrong fast if you not good at it so curious on cost as I’d rather pay to have use of balcony albeit not really something I should cover.
