A colleague with an independent decoder accessing the PAS7/10 satellite is able to get Sky News free to air. For those of us comfortable with tweaking our DSTV decoders (e.g. to add France 24, Botwana etc. which work on mine), does anyone know the frequencies etc. which need to be entered for Sky? Or indeed if you can access Sky in this way with a DSTV decoder?

Sky is available on a DSTV decoder with subscription... no frequencies needed.

The free to air Sky is an open channel on the A7 transponder (10970 V 30000 SR). Channel is called iSZone, but is showing Sky News.

What are the polarisation and FEC settings for iSZone?
Thanks in advance.

Yes sorry I should have specified that I have a DSTV decoder which only has the bare-bones subscription, i.e. the freebie channels. So info on how to get it to access Sky as a free-to-air would be appreciated, thanks.
