How to implement a 400km long wifi link with the smallest antennas but not smallest amps.

Use a 25 watt wifi amps for the Access Point and a 18 dbi flat panel antennas that has a vertical and horizontal beam of 43 deg

And all the clients connects with a linksys client point box that is tx @ 251mW and use a 27dbi dish


Where is the pro’s in here? ffs :cool:

Very carefully.

It will be easier to lease a Mega or Diginet life from Telkom than try and make a link over that distance work. Not to mention the interference...
 
400km?!?
Ask Google how they impemented their city wide wireless networks lol
 
400Km? You realize that each side would need an antenna pole about 3km long just to get line of sight? And to actually work it would need to be higher due to fresnel zones.
 
Another thing, how can I get coverage of 300km x 300km in South Africa from my antenna from out of space? Just an example

My antenna is 400+km above on a virtual pole in orbit
