How to improve speed?

Hi guys

My cousin got Rain set up on Saturday and the speed is like 0.14mpbs!

He tested using his phone since they have no router but will get one soon.

Will the router using those antennas (those paddle ones) that go in the back actually improve the speed?

They can't afford an external antenna etc.

How to Improve speed in two easy steps:

1. Cancel Rain and ask for refund
2. Look for a new service provider

Two replies so far, one on point and the other pointless.

Those paddle antenna don't really help, but trying different locations in your house possibly will help to find a better tower to connect to. You can also check on the Rain dashboard to get an idea of where the towers are in your area.

In my area there are many towers close to me, but I find that using an external antenna gets the best results.

True ... everyone has different opinions on this matter but getting an external antenna works well ... for me and the @jbroo we got outside routers so we good
