so currently i have a unknown brand psu for 350W, now i am looking at upgrading it, if needs be to a 450-500W. (will see if my new gfx card requires it)

now my question is, is it basically just a case removing the old one, and installing the new one, with all the connectors in the same place

Pretty much. Just make sure it has the same, or better specs than your current one. But seeing you have an "unknown brand", you can't go too wrong.

About as easy as opening a packet of chips....Actually some chip packets can be darn hard to open! ;) :D

got a 450w from computersonly, and it was actually very easy.....

...just unscrewed, unplugged, and installed hte new one with all the plugs in the prev place and taa-daa

Just make sure you don't let the streams cross.
what does that mean?
