How to install Internet Exploder 7 in the background

Eish - anything that dangerous should be well marked, with plenty of opt-outs.

Company regulations... all users must have exploder 7 :(

I made this once off script called IE7.bat, closest thing I could think of

Also contained in the folder is a IE7.exe (a Renamed IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe )

What kind of half-brained, dim witted and technologically backward excuse for a company would mandate IE7 on all PCs?

I'm not sure which one would do that, consciously, but we have a CRM system that makes extensive use of activex...we bought into this system when firefox wasnt really viable (2003-2004) so we have to use IE for that.
not everything is straightforward in a big company.

does that qualify?

I couldn't convince the rest of the family to use FF...until I replaced ie6 with ie7 on the PC.:D
 
I prefer IE7 to IE6. I can't imagine using IE6 anymore, it's really terrible. At least IE7 has tabs. :/

A lot of companies can't use Firefox, so IE7 is at least better than IE6.
