How to Make Your Android Faster in Seven Steps

The bit about uninstalling all apps you don't often use isn't exactly spot on. You want to go to "running services" instead of "manage applications", and look for whats actively using resources, and uninstall those which you don't use.
 
Agreed with the Launcher pro esp if you have HTC with Sense. the amount of things tied to Sense makes it dam slow.

Yeah, have to agree. Really really stupid advice. My "favorites":

1) "Reduce icons and put them in folders because it takes time for the system to draw icons on your home screen. Rather put them in folders" .... You varking dumb tw@t. So now I have to click twice to get my app to run. That extra nano second to draw my icon REALLY doesn't bug me.

2) "Install a different launcher on your home screen. Its faster"....... like I said...that extra nano second to draw my home screen really doesn't bug me because I can't work faster than that.
