How to pay SARS?

Im really struggling to pay my tax. I have some money I need to pay in, because I didnt keep the log book (had a travel allowance) from a job I had in 2017.

I was with Tymebank, but Tymebank has no way to pay SARS. So I have a Standard Bank account and tried the My Bills feature. It doesnt work. I have an arrangement to pay SARS and no bills or options to pay come through this.

When I try add them as a normal beneficiary I get a lot of choices:



Im not sure which one it is, but I assumed "Provisional Tax" and they wouldnt accept my tax number as a reference.



Im really not sure what I am doing wrong, or how to pay SARS.

If anyone has any advice on how to pay them and what I am doing wrong, I would really appreciate it.

it's most likely ITA not PROV. Have you tried that? Also you can book a call with SARS, idk if they will help with the payment but they will for sure confirm what you need to select

I get the same error when I try ITA. I guess Ill try book a call with them tomorrow

Book a slot with them. They very helpful, because they want your money, and your money pays for their time

Get a statement of account. There should be a long number you use as reference. It's not your tax number.

Should be similar to xxxxxxxxT00000000
