How to place codes into a forum directory

We have a guild in the game - Guild Wars so we decided to create a forum.

Background: Every character in Guild wars has a skill bar that you use in game. We want to incorporate these codes to explain every skill on the skill bar.

I found a site where to download the codes but don't know how to place it in our forum directory? <-------me NOOB

Can someone please explain it step by step im not a programmer so my knowledge are very limited(lol)

Well first of all, what forum software do you use? You need to make sure that code is compatible with your forum.

It seems fairly simple but if you're unsure of how to do it I would suggest maybe talking to someone who does know how and if possible watching them and learning how to do it for the future.
