How to read this figures from Telkom

I have a mobile Wi Fi account with Telkom of 10GB and 10GB night.

Just want to check my daily data usage and I cant find how to get this.

I don’t understand these figures can some one explain what are they.

Let's go through it section by section.

1) You have 10240Mb(=10Gb) of Telkom mobile data that will expire on the 1st of July.
2) You have no Smart Broadband Data left that will expire on the 1st of June (Disregard this)
3) you have 10240Mb(=10Gb) of Telkom mobile data that will expire on the 1st of August

4) you have 10240Mb(=10Gb) of data to use at public wifi hotspots.
5)you have 10240Mb(=10Gb) of smart broadband data that will expire on the 1st of July 2019
6)you have 10240Mb(=10Gb) of Night Surfer data that will expire on the 1st on June 2019
7)you have 8718Mb(=8.7Gb) of Telkom mobile data that will expire on June the 1st 2019


So in summary, you currently have
29192Mb(~29Gb) of TelkomMobile data left. (As it rolls over)
10420Mb(10Gb)of SmartBroadband data left.
10240Mb(10Gb)of night surfer data left.

When I use to have online Telkom service every day got an email with the amount data used and balance

and I could see the same balance on other sites. Is there a place where can I get the same service of wifi?

To get this balance I found this “Log In to the Telkom Self Service portal to view your data and/or WiFi balance.”

I long on My Telkom but can’t find no place to check for the WiFi Balance.

If you want to check your balance you can do so at http://onnet.telkom.co.za from the simcard you want to see the balance off. No login required.

Again thank you basil for your answer but now please explain what is with all the places tiles and dates for the data, it is very confused and not friendly, I sign for 10GB and 10GB night only just want the logical way I use X amount and have now Z amount.

GPRS: 4181 MB remaining GPRS: 3550 MB remaining 4181-3550 =631MB

Expires on Mon Jul 01 2019 Expires on Mon Jul 01 2019

Included Telkom Mobile Night Surfer Data Included Telkom Mobile Night Surfer Data

GPRS:8606 MB remaining GPRS:8332 MB remaining 8606-8332=274MB

Expires on Sat Jun 01 2019 Expires on Sat Jun 01 2019



Total of 905 MB was use, from experience know I dint use that amount.

Total impossible of using Night Surfer data my computer and router are switch off around 7:00PM (19:00) every day.

I have vnStat (network traffic monitor) application on my computer and confirms my suspicious the stats for the 14 of May they not near of Telkom.

It reads 313.30 MiB against Telkom 905 MB

You have 3550Mb of normal data left.
&
8332 Mb of Night Surfer.

No need to subtract amounts as that will give you usage not remaining data


As for the mismatch of usage that is just Telkom being Telkom
