How to slow vehicles down

At least people in Iceland probably don't do a lot of drugs, otherwise this would go bad very quickly, junkies thinking they are being attacked by floating blocks.

Imagine you slowed down or stopped for one of those only to promptly get rear ended by someone not keep a safe following distance. He's to blame, but you sit with lifelong neck pain and insurance headaches.

I often get these on fixed cameras on the highways. The speed limit is 120, but when poeple see them they hit the brakes hard and do 60 even though they were well in the speed limit.
 
wont work in this country
taxi coming down the road sees this and sidewalks onto pavement killing dozens of pedestrians

Lets say you see the full 3D effect, the first time you see this and realize no magic thus this cannot happen or you see the car in front of you drive over this you will ignore the effect after initial encounter

Better to make real potholes

Exactly. It's going to work only the first time. 77 subsequent times you just speed through.

Actually, wont it be a better idea to paint 3d pictures of children there? You'll definitely slow down many more times than for this.

Imagine driving into a real object in the road thinking it was only an optical illusion.
