On a ladder, too lazy to go down and move the thing - I leaned somewhat too far.
Yes - you guessed it.
I accepted my fate at I realised what was about to happen.

Anyway, nice deep scrape across my wrist, that for the last 30 minutes or so wont stop bleeding - just keeps oozing to the surface.
Any ideas as best how to stop this, it's getting real irritating now !!

Just bleed out. Then you're Haalal.:)

I had a papercut that kept bleeding for two days...

But some plaster should help.
I think rinsing a wound can cause it to bleed more

My neighbor has a huge aloe next to the wall.
I am told aloe is good for stopping this kind of thing.
If ppl from camps bay to hout bay hear banshee-like screaming in 15 minutes, dont panic !
Going to dig the rest of the tarmac out of my raw wound then to try some stealth gardening

/makes note to notify Doves to send a van out if no post in next 2 hours.

Rinsing would just remove the platelets on the surface and prevent the blood clotting so yea generally just disinfect and bandage up, if there are big cuts use sticky bandage to keep skin together over wound.

All a trip to the doctor/hospital would yield is those results and a big bill. If it is serious then go..

it's just a deepish scrape (over tar driveway).
problem is the inconvenient size - about 1.5cm x 6cm or so.

squeezed some aloe juice over it, tingles somewhat, looks real messy now, but the flow seems to have stopped
